Taking utmost care of your pelvic issue

Your Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Dr. Jennifer Vohra

A certified doctor of physical therapy with advanced training and certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation and obstetric physical therapy (through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and Academy Of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, also referred as APTA).

My background is unique with over 12 years of being a physical Therapist. My passion for the pelvic floor therapy fits perfectly to help pregnant-postpartum and pelvic floor dysfunction clients. I have taken extensive post-graduate education to enhance my knowledge. I am a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist too. I have studied with Herman & Wallace for my pelvic floor rehabilitation, Academy of pelvic health physical therapy and with Dr. Sarah Duvall for obstetric physical therapy.

In 2021, I founded Bloom Pelvic Health and wellness to help as many as possible by educating about the pelvic issues that are part of our body, decreasing stigma and to seek help to heal your pelvic and private part related issues. I offer a safe and holistic way to achieve a healthy pelvic floor and core.

My personal experience of labor made me realise the importance of pregnancy and postpartum care. I felt there are many more like me who need education and assistance. I am on a mission to help as many people to overcome this phase.

I received Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College, Bay Shore NY (2015), Master Of Science Kinesiology from California Baptist University, Riverside California (2011) and a Bachelor In Physical Therapy from India (2009). Throughout my career I had various opportunities to work with clients in various settings.

I specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy treatment for people who are:

  • Pregnant
  • Facing postpartum issues
  • Having Pelvic floor dysfunctions
  • Patients with bowel, bladder, and sexual dysfunction across all female adult age groups.

My goal is to find and fix your pelvic issues. I use a hybrid approach that combines hands on manual therapies with proven progressive corrective exercises to achieve the best possible outcomes for you. I am passionate about educating my client and believe it to be an essential part of the rehabilitation process.

Each of my treatment is based on your specific issues. It involves high focus on evidence based practices, manual therapy and corrective exercise. I am confident to return you to your functional level and inspire to empower you with pelvic floor dysfunction by reducing the burden of living with pelvic floor symptoms.

I am also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Academy of Pelvic Health as well as the Global Pelvic Health Alliance.

I live in Boston, MA with my husband and our toddler. Outside of work I love to travel, run, ride a bike, fitness training and photography.
