What exactly is a pelvic floor?
- Pelvic Floor is group of muscle found in the floor (the base of your pelvis).
- If you think of the pelvis as being the home to organs like bladder, uterus (or prostate in Men) and rectum, the pelvic floor muscle are the home’s foundation.
- PF muscle span the bottom of the pelvis and support the pelvic organs.
- PF muscles give you ability to control the release of urine, faeces, flatus.
- PF muscles are also important for sexual function in both Men & Women.
Do u take Insurance?
We are considered an out-of-network provider with all insurances. In order to spend the quality one on one time we need with our patients, we are fee for service with payment due at the time of service in the form of cash, credit card, check or venmo.
Many insurance providers will reimburse you for out-of-network physical therapy . We recommend that you contact your insurance company in advance to find out what your out-of-network benefits are. We will provide you with an itemized super bill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement upon your request.
What modes of payment you prefer?
Cash, credit card, check or Venmo
Will you be needing a referral prescription as well?
As we are based in Massachusetts, we are a direct access state. So you do not need a referral for your Pelvic floor physical therapy. Ideally I suggest to check with your insurance if you plan for reimbursement.
